아! 여러분 파운데이션과 쿠션의 차이점을 물어보시는 분이 있더라구요

Oh! Some asked me what’s the difference between foundation and cushion

같은 입생로랑의 제품인데 파운데이션을 썼을 때 마무리감과 쿠션을 썼을 때 마무리감이 다르다고 하시는 분들이 있더라구요

Some said YSL foundation and cushion finishes are different when they used the same line

이 차이는 파운데이션은 이렇게 용기 안에 들어가 있잖아요

There’s the difference because the foundation is in this container

그래서 펌핑을 하기 때문에 조금 기존에 텍스처를 그대로 유지하는 편이구

You have to pump it and it keeps its texture well

우리가 쿠션을 보면 쿠션 안에 요렇게 그물망

But when we look at the cushion, you’ll see the net

이걸 뭐라 그러지..? 스펀지??

How do we call it..? Sponge?

스펀지가 있잖아요 이 스펀지에다가 기존에 텍스처를 그대로 올리면 얘가 흡수가 되지 않아요

There's the sponge. This won’t absorb the texture

그래서 안에 유수분을 조금 더 넣어서 충분히 스펀지 안에 흡수가 될 수 있게

So, they put more oil and water, so the sponge can absorb well

어떻게 말하면 유화제? 비슷한 성분을 넣거든요 그런 제형 조절하는 거를

We could also say they put 'emulsifier' or something like that to change the texture

그래서 쿠션을 썼을 때랑 파운데이션 썼을 때의 마무리감이나 텍스처감이 조금 달라요

That’s why the finishes and textures are different when you use a cushion and foundation

이거는 쿠션의 잘못이 아니라 당연히 스펀지 안에 흡수를 시키기 위해서

It's not because cushions are bad. The sponge has to soak well

그렇게 제형 조절을 하는 거기 때문에 쿠션은 잘못이 없어요

And that’s why they had to change the texture. It’s not cushion’s fault

그럼 스펀지의 잘못인가..? 아무튼..!! 쿠션은 잘못이 없어요

Is it sponge’s fault…? Anyway…! There’s nothing wrong with cushions

가장 저의 이 눈 모양, 코 모양의 쉐입이랑 잘 맞더라구요

It fits the shapes of my eyes and nose

요즘에 요것만 써주고 있을 정도로 진짜 잘 써요

I would bring an eyebrow product, moisturizer and sunscreen

아 어렵다 어떻게 딱 세 가지만 들고 갈수 있죠

아이브로우 포기 못하겠어요

아이브로우는 눈썹도 그려야 되고 눈꼬리도 요렇게 요렇게 빼줘야 되고

I can use it to pencil my brows and wing the eyeliner out

애교살 그림자도 쓱쓱쓱 요렇게 그릴 수가 있거든요

여기서 가장 처음으로 1번 컬러를 사용해 줄게요

I'll use the first color of it

딱 컬러가 베이스 깔아주기에 좋은 컬러?

This color a good to apply as a base

뭔가 제 피부 톤이랑 너무 잘 맞아서 진짜 딱 이 조합은 보자마자 “와 얘는 조합 진짜 잘했다”

It goes well with my skin tone and when I saw the colors, I was like ‘wow. the color combination is great’

팔레트 너무 예뻐요

The palette is so pretty

딱 제가 원하는 팔레트 조합이라서 요즘에 얘를 진짜 진짜 잘 써주고 있어요

It has all the colors I like and I’ve been using it well these days

조금 더 진한 4번째 컬러를 사용해 줄게요

I'll use the 4th color which is a bit darker

요거는 이제 조금 더 짙은 브라운인데 이번에는 눈 위쪽에 섀도우 음영 잡아줄게요

This is a darker brown and I’ll use it to contour the upper part of the lid

섀도우 사용할 때 가로로 움직이면서 점점 위로 올라가야지 그라데이션이 쉽거든요

You should move the brush horizontally when you bring it up to create a gradient easily

그래서 저는 차곡차곡 쌓아주듯이 올라가 줄 거예요

So I'm going to pile it up carefully

제가 지금 이제 자취를 하고 있잖아요

I'm living alone right now

층간 소음이 지금 너무너무 힘들어요

And the noise between floors is making things difficult

한 1년 반 넘게 2년 가까이 지금 이 집에서 살고 있는데

I've been living here for about a year and a half

안에가 비어있는지 사람 발소리가 둥둥둥둥 하면서 그 잔음? 잔..발꿈치 소리가...와 제가 깜짝깜짝 놀라요 제가 듣다가..

Maybe it’s empty inside. I can ear footsteps and it’s echoing throughout this place.. wow.. I get surprised when I hear it

조금 더 진한 브라운 컬러랑 그리고 이제 여기 3번째 있는 핑크 컬러 두 가지를 섞어줄게요

I’ll mix this darker brown color with this 3rd pink shade

이게 계속 지속되다 보니까 스트레스가 좀 심하더라구요

It doesn’t stop and I get stressed

근데 뭔가 물건 떨어뜨리는 소리나 의자 끄는 소리는 저도 그냥 그럴 수 있다고 생각을 하거든요

I can understand the sound of dropping something or pulling chair

이렇게 표현하면 안 되지만 위에 사시는 분이 어디서 어디로 이동하는지 알 것 같아…

I probably shouldn't say it in this way, but I can know where the upstairs neighbor is..

화장실에 갔다가 주방에 왔다가 작은방으로 가는 것까지 느껴져요.. 근데 이거 좀 심하지 않아요?

I can know when he/she goes to bathroom and kitchen and small room… isn’t it bad?

이 사람이 지금 이동 동선이 느껴진다는 거는 발 뒤꿈치로 이렇게 쿵쿵쿵쿵 이러고 걷는다는 거잖아요

I can feel the route and it means he/she is walking on his/her heels like this, right?

너무 힘들어요 지금…

섀도우를 얇게 점막 부분부터 칠해주면서 쌍커풀 라인까지 올라오고 눈꼬리를 살짝 위로 올려줄게요

I’ll apply the shadow thinly from the waterline to the double eyelid line and raise the wing slightly

가루날림이 떨어져서 이렇게 닦아주면서 메이크업을 해줘야 되더라구요

This powder flakes a little bit, so I have to wipe it while I do the makeup

The eyeliner is not that dark but light, but it’s so smooth

스머징했을 때 컬러 또한 자연스러워서

It gets smudged so naturally

이거 너무 광고 멘트 같은데..?ㅋㅋ제가 정말 정말 잘 쓰거든요

I feel like I’m advertising it.. lol but I’ve been using it well

눈 꼬리를 빼줄 때 너무 짙은 컬러가 부담스러우셨던 분들한테도 딱 괜찮고

It's perfect if you think dark colors are too much to use on the wings

근데 이거는 제가 써보고 나서 초보자분들한테 진짜 좋겠다는 생각을 많이 했어요

After I tried it, I thought it would be great for beginners

이게 아이아리너 자체가 컬러가 너무 진하면 우리..실패 확률이 높잖아요

If the color of your eyeliner is too dark, you're more likely to fail

제가 눈꼬리를 자연스럽게 뺐을 때도 인위적인 느낌이 안 나서 제가 딱 좋아하는 제형, 질감, 컬러에요

This doesn’t look too artificial even on the wing and I love the texture and color of it

요즘 진짜 진짜 잘 쓰고 있어요

속눈썹이 미리 컷팅이 되어있어서 가닥가닥 심어주듯이 빈 곳을 메꿔줄 거예요

It’s this color

보기랑은 조금 다른 발색감이 있어요

Unlike what we can see, it’s quite highly pigmented

팁 모양도 살짝은 사선으로 되어있어서 입술 위에 올리기에 적당하더라구요

The tip is slightly diagonal making it suitable to apply on the lips

제가 원래 입생 틴트는 초기에 쓰고 최근에는 구매를 안 해봤는데

I used YSL tints when its cosmetics started. I didn’t buy any recently

구매를 해보고 진짜 만족스러워서 제가 두세 개 정도 더 구매를 했어요

But I was so satisfied with it that I bought two to three more

요즘에 제가 새로 뜯은 패드에요

This is what I opened recently

신상 제품은 아니구 원래 집에 있었는데 제가 뒤늦게 쓰기 시작했어요

This isn’t recently released. I had it at home, but I just started using it

몇 장 안 썼어요 어제인가?

I didn't use that much. I think I opened it yesterday

이틀 전부터 쓰기 시작해서 완전 새 제품이에요

So this is really new right now

이렇게 외부에 얘가 묻어 나와요 이 액체 에센스가

You can see the liquid essence on it

그래서 조금 쓸 때 불편한 점은 얘가 자꾸 흐른다는 것? 으아아아아아

But it’s slightly inconvenient because it keeps running. Urgghh

얘가 자꾸 흘러요 이거 조금 불편하긴 하지만 그래도 이 패드가 너무 좋아서 용서할 수 있어

It runs down. This is a little inconvenient, but this pad is really good that I can forgive it

이렇게 패드를 올려놓으면 확실히 뭔가 수분감을 채워주는 느낌이더라구요

I put the pad on like this to moisturize the skin from the inside out

얘는 제가 화장대가 아니라 화장실 위에 올려놓거든요

I put this in the bathroom, not on the dressing table

딱 세안을 하고 난 다음에 패드를 똥똥 붙이고서 화장대까지 이제 걸어가서

After I wash my face, I put this pad on my face and walk to the dressing table

이제 기초 제품 뭐 쓸까 고르는 사이에 얘가 충분히

Then think about what skincare products I should use

볼 이랑 피부 건조한 곳을 수분을 쫙 채워주는 느낌이라서 괜찮더라구요

While I’m doing that, this moisturizes my skin and cheeks

저는 그냥 올려서 진정시켜주는 패드로 쓰기에 딱 괜찮은 것 같아요

I think it's perfect to easily calm my skin down

요렇게 가볍게 닦아줄 거예요

This is my must-have item now...

얘가 효과를 진짜 많이 본 게 미백! 미백이 원래 제가 피부가 이렇게 밝지 않았거든요

It really whitened my skin! My skin wasn’t this bright before

이렇게 밝았나? 근데 뭔가 썼을 때 피부 톤이 균일하다는 느낌을 많이 받았어요

Was it this bright? But I really think this evened my skin tone

제가 세통 다 까고 이게 네 통째일 거예요

I’ve gone through three of it. I think this is the fourth one

원래 처음에 제가 “너랑나랑아랑”으로 소개했을 때 당시가 겨울이었을 텐데

When I first introduced it with ‘You and I and Arang’, I think it was in winter

봄이랑 여름 넘어올 때 얘를 쓸까 말까 고민을 살짝 했거든요

I wasn’t sure whether I could use this between spring and summer

이걸 써보신 분들은 알겠지만 텍스처 자체가 엄청 가볍고 라이트 한 편은 아니에요

If you've used this, you'll know the texture is not that light

살짝은 무게감도 조금 느껴지고 일단 영양 토너라는 느낌이 강해서

It’s slightly heavy and it is very nourishing

쓰면 “아, 조금 무거울 수도 있겠다”라는 생각이 있어서 걱정을 했는데

So, I was a little worried that it might be quite heavy

5월달이 돼서도 꾸준히 쓰고 있는데 괜찮아요 제가 너무 얘를 무겁게 봤나 봐요

But I’m still using this in May and it’s fine. I just thought it’s too heavy

오히려 피부에 올렸을 때는 적당한 수분감도 채워주면서 피부가 쫀쫀한 느낌?

But it moisturizes the skin well and makes the skin tighter

아 진짜 얘는 너무 잘 만들었어 어떡하면 좋아 진짜 좋아요

Oh, this one is really good. What should I do? It's really nice

제가 피부 진정이나 미백 제품을 많이 쓰는데도 그래도 가장 첫 단계에서는 얘를 놓칠 수 없다는 거

이거는 수분크림인데 완전 마음에 들었던 거는 짜서 쓰는 타입이라는 거예요

It's a moisturizing cream and what I love about it is its tube container

원래 단지형 수분크림이 많이 출시가 되는데 제가 단지형을 사실 엄청 좋아하지는 않아요

There are a lot of jar type moisturizing creams, but I don't really like them

공기랑 계속 접촉하다 보면 세균의 오염 번식! 세균의 번식 위험도 좀 있을뿐더러

When you expose the product to surrounding air, there’s potential for the spread of bacteria

이게 손을 계속 쓰면 손에 있는 것들이 계속 수분크림 면적에 닿잖아요

And when you dip your fingers into the jar, you’ll keep touching it, right?

위생적으로 쓰기에 어려워서 제가 단지형을 쓸 때는 진짜 그 제품이 좋아야 쓰거든요

It's hard to keep it hygienically, so I only use products when it’s really good
